Samuel was born in 1893, the oldest of four children born to Samuel Coleman Kingshott and his wife Harriet Rose nee Goodes. They lived in St Pancras, London.
 
Samuel died from his wounds in the hospital clearing station at St Omer, France, on 13th April 1918. He was 25 years old.
 
Samuel was my 7th cousin once removed.
